Both work. If you want to keep using the WhatsApp Business app on your phone, enable Coexistence at connect time -- messages stay in sync between the app and our inbox. If you're starting fresh, request a new Cloud API number through Embedded Signup at signup.
Can my team reply from the inbox AND from the WhatsApp Business app at the same time?+
Yes -- that's Coexistence. Messages your team sends from their phone appear in the inbox as 'smb_echo' messages; the platform doesn't try to reply to them with AI. Customer replies land in the same thread either way.
What about Meta's per-message cost?+
Meta bills the messages directly (Marketing ₹0.78, Utility ₹0.11, Authentication ₹0.12; Service messages within the 24-hour window are free). We don't mark this up. Cost preview is shown in the broadcast composer before you send.
